Spring Flowers

The Pemberton Community Association will soon be looking for new spring flowers and shrubs for the memorial garden.

The Statue is due for another coat of oil, and we will hopefully be planting small shrubs and plants around the base of the statue. Anyone interested in helping, please contact 07925 867070 

Memorial Statue

The statue in the memorial garden was paid for by Pemberton and Orrell ward councillors through Brighter Borough. The WW1 Soldier statue is in recognition of all the people in Pemberton and Orrell who gave their lives in The first world war and all wars since.

A memorial and dedication service took place on the 11th November 2014 in commemoration of the anniversary of WW1. Our thanks to local residents Phil Lloyd and Jack Byrne for their dedication opening and closing the garden 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
